SEC-T 2026

SEC-T Call for Papers 2026

SEC-T is a non-profit, English speaking, two day, single track information security conference taking place in late summer every year in Stockholm, Sweden. SEC-T is a conference where you can feel safe from sales pitches and marketing presentations as we have a large focus on our speakers’ research and first person accounts.

The SEC-T conference is divided into two separate parts:

  1. SEC-T Community Event - a free event on the day before the conference
  2. SEC-T Conference - the main conference

All events take place at the venue; Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm, Sweden.

For more information on our events, the organization and our mission statement read About SEC-T.

Content we like

We are a single track conference that has focus on highly technical content in a multitude of fields of computer security. Since we are a single track conference, talk slots are limited and we are therefore not likely to feature several talks covering the same subject.

We rate previously unpresented talks higher than talks that have been presented elsewhere. If you have previously given this presentation, please add some content to make it unique if you can.

Talks may be either 30 minutes or 45 minutes long. We prefer shorter talks, but don't hesitate to submit a 45 minute talk if it's not feasible to cover the topic in 30 minutes.

What you receive

  • Travel and accommodation expenses covered
  • Food and drinks during the event
  • Honorarium of 20,000 SEK (approximately €1,700-1,800 or $1,700-1,800) for conference presentations
    • Note: Community Event speakers receive travel, accommodation, meals, etc but no honorarium as this is a free event
    • Note: Honorarium is paid to the speaker, not any organization they may represent
  • Invitation to the speaker dinner on the evening before the conference
  • One complimentary conference ticket for a guest
